About apprenticeship education

The apprenticeship scheme is a way of learning a profession or extending your competence. The apprenticeship agreement is concluded between the employer, educational institution, student and the apprenticeship centre arranging the education.

A key aspect in the education is on-the-job learning so about 70-80% of it is arranged at the place of work. The minimum age for entering apprenticeship education is 15 years.
